Baker Forestry Services, Nursery and Consulting is a small, family business, owned and operated by Bob Baker and his wife Joanne near Erin, Ontario. Our staff has over 35 years of experience, and we have been in operation as a nursery for over 20 years.

Bob Baker is well known in the forestry community and by many private landowners through his extensive work as Forester for Credit Valley Conservation. In his 30 years of service, Bob has been involved in planting over 5 million trees. In 2002, Bob received the Queen's Golden Jubilee medal for forestry stewardship services in Canada. Also, in appreciation of his work as a forester for CVC (Credit Valley Conservation), a 90 acre woodland property was named the Robert Baker Forest Conservation Area.

Our mission is to assist in ecosystem management for healthy diverse forests and landscapes that honour the natural state of the land in regards to flora and fauna. We grow a wide variety of Native Species that are regularly used in restoring habitat to a more natural state all across Southern Ontario. Our trees & shrubs have been used to restore old farm fields, stream banks, construction sites, road sides, and storm water ponds, as well as adding a new focal point to a customers backyard. Having healthy, functioning, native ecosystems is the first step in creating a healthier planet.
As well as being a native nursery, we also provide tree planting services, forest consultation services, and invasive species management.
